The non-profit school project was founded in 2014. It is supported by an association, the newly established foundation ‘Gebäudeensemble Joachimsthalsches Gymnasium Templin’ and the Art and Cultural Promotion Association in the New German States. The foundation’s offices in Berlin and Templin are responsible for coordinating the activities of the project. Our consultant for school-pedagogical matters is Prof. Dr. Werner Esser, former member of the management team of Salem, founding director of St. Afra and the managing director of the Louisenlund Foundation. With regard to construction and building matters, we are fortunate to draw on the expertise of the architect Friedrich von Waldthausen (Dienstleistung Denkmal).
